50ml Gente de Mezcal Espadín
15ml agave nectar
25ml fresh lime juice
Fresh or dehydrated lime
- Run a lime slice around the rim of a coupe.
- Tip salt into a small plate and dip the rim in the salt until it is covered with your desired amount of salt. Set aside.
- Add Mezcal, lime juice and Cointreau to a cocktail shaker, and shake.
- Pour in the margarita into the salt-rimmed coupe.
- If desired, garnish with a lime wedge.
