MARGARITA

ZESTY. FLORAL. SMOKEY

INGREDIENTS

50ml Gente de Mezcal Espadín
15ml agave nectar
25ml fresh lime juice
30ml Cointreau

GARNISH

Fresh or dehydrated lime

GLASS

Champagne coupe

METHOD

  1. Run a lime slice around the rim of a coupe.
  2. Tip salt into a small plate and dip the rim in the salt until it is covered with your desired amount of salt.  Set aside.
  3. Add Mezcal, lime juice and Cointreau to a cocktail shaker, and shake.
  4. Pour in the margarita into the salt-rimmed coupe.
  5. If desired, garnish with a lime wedge.
